We expect to produce 80,000 tons of percid fishes annually, and to create 1200 new works places, at Audru Fish Farm, by 2012. We are seeking into the company’s R&D division highly motivated and capable individuals who thrive in a multi-disciplinary bio-engineering environment and will be capable to run the company’s hatcheries, broodstock research and development units, laboratory, quarantine and veterinary services already from Autumn, 2009. We are recruiting staff workers with the main focus on aquaculture technologies, fish diseases and infections research, fish genetics and physiology, feed quality and technology research, hydrochemistry and water quality management, biochemistry and molecular biology, as follows: • 13 Aquaculture Specialists (with broad knowledge of fish husbandry techniques) • 3 Fish Veterinarians • 2 Fish Geneticists • 2 Fish Nutritionists • 2 Microbiologists • 2 Biochemists • 3 Hydrochemists • 3 Laboratory Technicians We assume from successful candidates the next qualifications, skills and abilities: • Master, Master of Sciences, Engineer or Ph.D in Aquaculture, Veterinary, Genetics, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Hydrochemistry, Nutrition or equivalent • 5+ years work experience is an advantage • Fluency in English and/or German • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Ability to work in a team with engineers, technicians, scientists and manufacturing personnel • Adaptive to a rapidly changing environment We provide, at first, a 2-years training and research program including some practice in Danish, Norwegian, Belgian and US fish farms and hatcheries, laboratories, fish feed companies and universities.
